Another Sunday! Been thinking about today's lunch when I woke up in the morning... A crepe filled with mushroom is the meal for today. How I wanna add taste of chocolate into this recipe? A chocolate drizzled on top to go with ....

Chocolate Drizzled on top

So, I decided to go with chocolate batter
as well. The result:

A pair of Crepe

Wanna try? A simple recipe.

Crepe with Chicken Mushroom and Salad

Batter for Crepe
3 eggs
5 tbs unsalted butter (melted)
2 cups of milk
1 3/4 cup flour
A pinch of salt

Beat eggs and milk and pour in the melted butter. Mix well.
Sift flour and salt, if you use salted butter, no need to put in salt, otherwise the taste won't be good! Mix flour into the egg mixture. Mix until smooth.

For Chocolate Crepe, just add in melted chocolate approx 1/2 tbs to half of the batter.

Use non-stick skillet and make a thin layer, use medium heat. Done crepe.

Filling
400g Chicken Breast (skinned)
100g White button mushroom
3 tbs Butter
2 tbs cooking oil
Garlic
1/2 tbs flour
2 tbs milk

Heat oil and butter, stir in garlic. Then, stir in flour. Stir for about 5-10 second, pour in milk, mushroom and chicken. Done filling.

Eat the way you wanted!

White Choc

After my successful course last Sunday, and after rushing here and there to get my tools and ingredients (It was long holiday, remember! for Chinese New Year and all bakery shops close shop until Thursday) I managed to get the things ready for making my first attempt at home. Making chocolate.

Drizzling chocolate

I am quite nervous, but at the same confident that I can make this. I got the tools, I got the recipe. One thing though, I did change the mixture ratio just to test the outcome.

Result

The outcome, for its taste turn out to be just fine. So, it love shape decorated with alphabet. Need to practice my handwritten, though ... hahaha.

Special homemade chocolate with Belgian quality.
It was a long weekend, since few months back I wanna learn the art of making chocolate. Thank you to Ummie Anisa for sharing with me the technique in making delicious chocolate at the comfort of home. The outcome turn out pretty amazing with better-than-offshelf-chocolate taste.

Few friends got the sample, and all commented of its good taste and cute design. I cannot wait to experiment the techniques and art of making chocolate at home !
